After the recent openings at European and international level, Calligaris Group extends its network in Italy and chooses Milan, symbol of design excellence, for the opening of its largest and most prestigious Flagship Store, signed by Studio Marco Piva.
The brand new store, located in Via Solferino at number 21N03, is situated in the new Milan Design District, in the beating heart of Brera, and is spread over a surface of 700 square meters within the historic “Cortile della Seta”, in a nineteenth-century building recently retrained. Linear and bright thanks to the large ceiling windows, the Flagship Store presents the collections signed by Calligaris, Ditre Italia and Luceplan.
The Flagship Store welcomes open, flexible and interconnected spaces: it brings together the three brands, creating scenarios that combine different environments and ways of living the contemporary home. Large full-height windows join the ground floor to the mezzanine becoming real exhibition windows that extend the interior spaces in the outdoor courtyard.
Ditre Italia traditionally focuses on quality, innovation and customization and displays some sophisticated products part of the range. Ada sofa is distinguished by complementary and modular islands, and matches with Nell coffee tables completing the living area enriched by Beetle armchairs and the light and functional Unit bookcase. The sleeping area develops thanks to the iconic Bend bed, while in the lounge area stands out the elegant and iconic Sanders sofa.
A common feature of the space and furnishings is the attention to sustainability, in line with the “Greenbow” project presented last year by Calligaris Group. The green products of the company, in fact, match perfectly to the building of the store that is certified LEED Gold.
This new opening reflects the will of Calligaris Group to create an exhibition space where the soul and history of three iconic brands of Italian design can emerge and tell their identity in a unique atmosphere where style, comfort and elegance become the protagonists. A new, important step in the strategic consolidation of the Group’s retail presence that passes through Italy and continues its international expansion.
